Coinbase Tutorial
In this tutorial we will see step by step how to open an account and buy Crypto on the Coinbase platform.

You will receive a message in your mailbox to validate your registration Then the coinbase service will ask you to perform an identity verification. You will need to upload a scan of your ID and enter your address. The name and address must match your identity document.
You will also need to enter your phone number, this is additional security for your account. If someone tries to hack your account, the service will send a unique access code by text message to the phone number you entered. You can also request that the access code be requested for each connection.
The next step is to fill in and verify your bank account details (SEPA) so that you can then make transfers to your Coinbase account. To do this, go to the "Parameters" tab then "Payment methods" and finally click on the "add a payment method" button.
You will then have to enter your bank details, bank counter, account number ... available on your RIB.
Once done, you will need to verify your account to prove that you are the owner. Go back to the "payment method" tab and click on the red "unverified" button. There you will find all of Coinbase's bank details. All you need to do is make a SEPA transfer in the amount you want via your online banking.
Important: When you make your SEPA transfer do not forget to give your reference number, otherwise Coinbase will not be able to recognize you and the money will return to your Bank account.

How to buy Cryptoccurencies ?
Once your account is funded in Euro currency you can make Bitcoin purchases instantly using your EUR Wallet. On Coinbase you have a wallet for each cryptocurrency: EUR Wallet, BTC Wallet, ETH Wallet, LTC Wallet ...
Your Euro Wallet will be useful to you to buy Crypto but also when you sell your crypto currencies. To buy, go to the "Buy / Sell" section and in the "Buy" tab in the EUR and BTC boxes enter the amount then click on the "buy Bitcoin immediately" button.
Congratulations ! Your Bitcoin has been added to your BTC Wallet.
How to sell your Crypto and send euros to your bank account?
To sell your crypto-currencies you must go to the "Sale" tab, still in the "Buy / Sell" section.
Then you must select the wallet from which you want to sell by clicking on the arrow to the right of "BTC Wallet".
You have access to your 4 wallets to sell directly in euros. By default, the selected wallet is the BTC Wallet. Enter the amount you wish to sell and then click the "Sell Bitcoin Immediately" button.
You will then find your euros in EUR Wallet. To make a transfer in euros to your bank account, go to the "Accounts" section. Then on your "EUR Wallet" you can make deposits or withdrawals.
To make a withdrawal click on the "Withdrawal" button, you just have to indicate the amount and the withdrawal will be made to the bank account used to make the deposits.
Please note: deposits on Coinbase are made from your bank account and not the Coinbase platform. The "Deposit" button is only used to signal that you are going to deposit money and also to retrieve your reference number.
How to send Crypto?
Crypto transactions are made directly from wallet to wallet. Each wallet has an address. You must therefore ask which address to send your Crypto to.
To deposit Cryptoccurencies on a site, the receiver will provide you with an address to which you will need to make the transfer. You just have to go to the "Accounts" section and click on the "Send" button of your Crypto Wallet. All you have to do is provide the Crypto address, the amount and validate your shipment.
How to receive Cryptoccurencies?
To receive your payments in Crypto, you must create a crypto address that you will then have to enter in your account settings. Creating an address takes you a few seconds, go to the "Tools" section then in the "Addresses" tab select the Crypto Wallet and finally click on the "Create a new address" button.
Congratulations ! You have just created a Crypto address. All addresses will remain usable and will be linked to your coinbase account forever. It is advisable to create several addresses for transparency concerns. Indeed if you reuse addresses, know that the transactions are publicly visible and can be searched on the blockchain.
